BIG NUMBERS

The course is nearly finished. Congratulations my little students! The teacher is very happy that you already have a wide range of vocabulary. Here you have a video (specially thought for the 2nd level kids, but you can all see it). If you click onto the picture you'll enjoy counting and learning the numbers. Don't stress, remember that in 2nd grade the objective is to know the numbers till 20. So, here you have the chance to review or keep learning depending on your needs.

THE TALE OF THE SUN AND THE MOON

Today, the 1st and 2nd grade pupils went to the library to listen to the tale called: the sun and the moon. At the end, that girl (who was absolutely brilliant at telling stories) told us two other stories: the three little pigs and another one about an old lady who couldn't get home because her pig wasn't able to jump through the fence.

Anyway...from here we congratulate and say thanks to our storyteller and, next week, the english teacher (me) will tell this beautiful tale: the sun and the moon. Till then, you can click onto the picture and enjoy the video.

P5: HOORAY FOR FISH

Here is the display that we made in class after having told the story "Hooray for fish" and seen the video. It's amazing how quickly they learn the vocabulary. Congratulations on your work, P5!

2ND LEVEL PROJECT

From the vocabulary related to farm animals, pupils were curious about more other names of animals so we learnt and revised more vocabulary. They brought different pictures, drawings...and, as you can see in the picture, we could classify the animals into 4 groups:

- Farm animals
- Pets
- Sea animals
- Wild animals


Well done 2nd level pupils! Good work!

These days, in 1st and 2nd of primary we are working on the story called "Goldilocks and the three bears"; in catalan...the well-known story "La Rínxols d'Or".

Through this story we learn vocabulary about family (mummy, daddy...), objects (bowl, chair, bed...), sizes (big, small, tiny), and at the same time we think/talk about Goldilocks' behaviour, which isn't good at all.

Where is your english after Christmas???
